healthy during the COVID19 confinement. I have a few DIY
projects I've been wanting to do for my home... I'll share them
with you when completed. I've been seeing these round door
hang tag all over Pintrest and Etsy, but boy they can be expensive
$32-$50. Here's my version made with items found
at $$ Tree .. total cost just $4.
Before
Supply List: $4 Total Cost
Card board form: Dollar Tree $1
Paint : free, I had on hand
Greenery: Dollar Tree :$1
Cotton Steam: Dollar Tree $1
Burlap Wired Ribbon: Dollar Tree $1
Stencil: If you don't have a cutting machine, you could hand paint
with Microsoft word art
Glue Gun
Black Marker - optional
Step 1: Paint your round disk with your desired color, I used my favorite color, drop-cloth chalk-paint. It will take several coats, let dry completely between coats.
Step 2: I used my cutting machine to make the "personalized initial" and the "welcome" stencil. Before placing
the stencil on your board, you'll need to seal your sign with either modpodge or sealer of your choice. I used a matte finish.
If you don't have a cutting machine you could use Microsoft word art, transfer and paint.
Step 3: Is optional. I made a ship-lap look by measuring out and adding lines with a black marker.
Step 4 - Gather your flowers and arrange to your liking. Take your time, lay it out on the board before you hot gluing them in place. When I arranged them I left the middle open to place my burlap bow in the middle.
I added a jute loop on the back to hang on my door.
Here's the After
I could't be happier... I love the look
