DIY Farmhouse Stool Makeover

Hi friends... I've had some stool just waiting for a makeover. Maybe you have some or have seen some and passed buying them because they're to plain. This first one I'll share with you can be used as a stool or a functioning table. Let me explain what I did. here's the before, pretty plain right.

The legs got a fresh coat of my antique white paint . The seat was sanded and stained a dark walnut stain. The graphic was found on line, no worries if you don't have a stencil machine,  just copy, print and trace the pattern onto your piece. Fill in the lines with desired paint color, in my case I used black. I lightly distressed the seat and put a top coat sealer on it.

I choose to cut and stain a piece of wood to fit into the rung so I could use it as a side table, it's not permanently attached.  If I want to use it as a seating, I'll just remove the piece of wood and decor  and use. Stay tuned... I have a few more stools to do , I plan on during something different with them.
