Here's the first project of the New Year.
I've been looking for a grandmother's clock that I could transform for some time. When I found this in my travels, I knew it was coming home with me.
Here's the Before, not too cute, right.
Here's what I did. First I gave it a good cleaning, removed the bottom door, cut and attached a new solid wood panel.Removed the tin clock face, painted the wood panel . I cut the numbers out with my Cricut. Finally I sealed it to give a hand -rubbed look, without the fuss of re-waxing .
